cpu eater

whenever i use kmplayer-the latest beta...it will gulp up more than 80cpu,12mb of ram and then, the rest of my activities in the computer will freeze...why?:eek:any remedy for this big eater?

i couldn't discard kmp because it produced the best sound......better than GOM player...

I found out that it comsumes far less cpu when it is minimized.

is that all info you are going to give us?
What OS are you using? What KMP version are you using? Do all files use that much cpu? What renderer are you using? Post ctrl+tab info of a problematic file.
