H!

I have recently installed vista, and all my video file icons are default white in total commander. In exporer theey are generated little images from the first frame of the video plus a default kmplayer icon in the corner. But i would like to have the colorful icons made for each filetybe saying the file extensions on them. I think of the ones in the KIconLib.dll

SO i started looking around:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\KMPlayer.avi\D efaultIcon here is the thing wher i can rewrite the icon

for example winamp has:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Winamp.File\De faultIcon
C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe,1
the "1" stands for the icon position in the icon library i think.

i tried to write this for kmplayer:
C:\Program Files\KMP\KIconLib.dll,1
but wont work...

how can i make things work? or maybe there is an installable version of the player? i find only extractable preinstalled versions

thx

Hell:eek:

You can edit KIconLib.dll directly or use icon packages made by users.
