Indeed this would be quite useful.

It's one of the user's most desired functions, it's called crossfade.

@ marcusvr:
I have tried it's called crossfade., before I posted my reply, but the break still remained.
Perhaps you know a trick at the configuration of crossfade ?

notmebug, may be I expressed myself wrongly, 'cause English isn't my language, but I wanted to say that crossfade is a object of desire of a lot of KMP users... Unhappily it isn't implemented in KMP!

@ marcusvr:
It depends on the version of KMP, that you use. My Version is Beta 2.9.3.1413, and indeed this one includes a crossfade option (Options / Preferences / Audio Processing / Audio Renderer -> Use Internal Audio Renderer (Crossfade) = ACTIVATE), but the breaks remained, which is very disturbing.
But on the right there is a 'Config'-Button too, and perhaps it may be possible, to find a better setup through experimenting a little bit.
By the way: English isn't my language either.

notmebug, may be I'm wrong, but I think that this option just implements fade in and fade out to the tracks played...
The difference between this option and crossfade is that crossfade, besides the fade in and fade out effect applied to the tracks, also mix the end of one track with the start of another one, eliminating the break between the tracks.
Oh, I also suggest you to always use the latest beta. And what is your first language? There is a lot of translations to KMP! If you're interested, use the multi-language installer by Pantuflo.
Usually, it's called as gapless playback. IIRC, there was an answer for this.

@ marcusvr:
Thank you very much for your very detailed explanation !!!
Since I still have got hardware turntables and some vinyls and a good old hardware mixer, I actually do know the crossfade mixer on it, and also I know the differences between fade in/out and crossfade very well.
Because I tried KMP for the first time, I only thought that 'crossfading' means indeed 'crossfading', so that audio tracks could be mixed without a pause / gap, just like a DJ crossfades between tracks at the hardware mixer. But it seems, that in KMPlayer 'crossfading' is impossible, because there is always a gap, no matter what you do.
A search at the forum ('gapless') showed me, that the gap is a kind of bigger technical problem of KMP.
So, if I want to listen to some music, I unfortunately still have to prefer WinAmp.
My KMP-Installation has 23 languages from Albanian to Vietnam, but usually I prefer German, which is my first language, too.
You can remove other language files manually if it makes you bothering. It's possible to have a partial solution for gapless playback or even replaygain. However, it would be better to use the player having more advanced features for audio playback if you feel lack of features while playing audio files with KMP. There are only simple features of playing audio files in KMP as it is not a dedicated player for that purpose.
Though I mostly use KMP to play audio files, I have winamp and foobar on my desktop.
