no sounds

hi,

i have download the latest version of kmp player but when i play any movie, i can see the picture but hear no sounds.

when i opened this with real player, there is no problem at all, i can see picture and hear sounds.

so what shoud i do to fix it? the movie is in rmvb mode. i also have k-lite mega pack installed, i am using win xp.

Please post the Ctrl+Tab info (press Ctrl+Tab while playing and then paste the info here).

Can you provide us a sample or a link to that file (or a similar one) for testing?

If that file plays well with Media Player Classic (included with K-lite's pack), post the Media Player Classic filter list here (in Play -> Filters menu).

Please download the latest beta and reset your configuration (download it here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) -zip version- or here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) -installer-).

I've tested the video and it works well.

Make sure you don't have both RealPlayer and RealAlternative (included with K-Lite's pack) installed as it may be a conflict between them.

It's only that you don't need Real Alternative if you have RealPlayer installed (although I don't know if you have both installed).

In K-Lite's Mega Pack installation you can choose to not to install Real Alternative, or you can use K-Lite's Full pack, with no RealMedia codecs included.

Except from RealMedia's, all basic codecs are included with KMP, so maybe you don't need a codec pack at all.

i found something weird, when i watch the english movie " the dark water", i can hear sound ! but when i watch those chinese movie in rmvb mode ( which i downlaod from internet using bt software), i can't hear any sounds.

so what should i do then?

KMplayer latest version worked well for me even though I have both KMplayer and realplayer v10.5 installed in my system WinXPS2. Your problem probably due to the latest version realplayer v11. I faced the same problem like you after upgraded my realplayer to v11.

Dont use realplayer 11. Use the older 10.5 and you will have no problems.
