I want you developers to make a simple and light Portable version of KMP. It is useful for those who want to listen to music in public networks, such as university sites. :)

You can run it only with .exe, the .ini and your language file.

Try it and add necessary files for your usage if you need, it would be about 10mb instead of 40...

The beta versions don't install on your system, just open up the player via .exe file. It is portable then.

Ok! thats great! I want to know where the codecs are installed so that I can take them every where and play varius formats. If there are in windows folders or the kmplayer folder?
and which codec files are necessary to play amr, rm, wma, wmv, mp3, wav, flv, mov, mp4, mpeg, and DVDs ?
or is it enough to only run kmp simply?

No codecs are installed. Everything is in KMP folder. You'll only need RealMedia codecs.

I love portables too and have discovered the .ini file that KM has to write settings there, thank you KM once again - I use on my USB key
