View Full Version : Is there a way to "cache on-demand"?(with example video)

Realplayer has a very good feature for playing online stream video, which is known as "cache on-demand". While you are playing the video, the player will keep downloading the video file until the whole video is downloaded.

for this video:

Every time you push arrow keys for jumping 5 seconds, the player will start buffering. But if you play this video in Realplayer, you can easily jump forward while the speed of connection is nice.

Is this feature supported by Kmplayer? If it is, that will be great, since I'm using Kmplayer for most of the media file.

This thread ([Only registered and activated users can see links])might help, and KMP probably doesn´t support "cache on demand". We have to wait till the developer returns.
