Run KMP faster on old computer

Hello!
I have an old pc with Pentium 3 processor 1Ghz connected to TV and stereo, I use it only for playing MP3 and AVI files in my lounge.
I installed the latest version of KMPlayer but it is quite slow. Is there a way to disable some features to speed it up?

Delete plugins folder, enable Superspeed mode (Right click -> Video Advanced) and use a lightweight skin.

Note that only WXP and Vista are supported.
