horizontal scroll bar not working

I have KM Player on 2 machines. One of them runs a .ts video file of 3GB fine and allows me to jump around in the file using the horizontal time bar. The other plays the file from the beginning and does not allow the scroll bar and so it is impossible to jump to different sections. What is wrong? I have tried reloading KM player on the faulty version but no change

You can press Ctrl+Tab while playing in both cases and then compare the reports obtained, to check if they are using the same filters.

Apart from resetting to default settings, try to install KMP (the one with the problem) in a new folder.
