KMP not working on vista SP1

Hi, I just seen some posts about KMP so I decided to install it (install type: executable file because i already have codec) but when I launch it nothing happen. In task manager i can see that it appears only 2s and kill himself. Where is the problem ?

Here is my config.
Vista business SP1 - X700 graphic card

What KMP version? Where have you downloaded it from?

What do you mean?

KMP doesn't install/register any filter/codec into the system, as it uses its own codecs.

Refer to this thread ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) about a common issue with some installations.

I think I have the latest version 2.9.3.1428. I took it here. [Only registered and activated users can see links]
installation is fine, i meant i don"t install codec. My problem is that KMP doesn't launch. when I clic on the shortcut nothing happen. I can see it in task manager and it kill himself about 2,3 s later

Ok, I gave it an other try on both Vista RTM and SP1. I have the same problem. It doesn't launch. I really don't know why. I thought it was because of sp1 but seems not

I think Waldemar Sikorski was asking you if you've read the thread I linked to (in post number 2):

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

It looks like you haven't read it as you haven't commented anything about it.

Other things you can try:

- Delete the plugins folder
- Start KMP with admin rights
- Use the Delphi07 compiled executable: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

Install the full version... maybe you have only the executable file and not the language files needed.
