Problems with mkv

I have some problems with watching videos in wkv format. When I start watching videos(mkv) at first seconds everything is ok, but then everything(Kmplayer,explorer)stuck and I have to reload my computer(ctrl+alt+del or alt+f4 cant help).

they should be no problems for playing the mkv.

I think you shouldn't do that with KMP. All those codecs installed could be a problem. KMP has its own internal codecs and if you want to use an external one you should install only the one you need.

First of all, reset KMP to default settings and install the latest version (today, 2.9.3.1429) in a new folder.

Are those .mkv videos in HD? Is your system capable of playing them with other players?

You can also try to change the .mkv splitter in Preferences.
