There is something wrong with "desktop mode" of my KMP

my kmp version is 2.9.3.1427, my computer model is dell latitude d630, which video card is nvidia quadro NVs 135m, and my OS is MS WINXP Home Edition version 2002 SP2.

I cannot use "desktop mode" , What should I do now?

I think that Desktop Mode only works when choosing "Overlay Mixer" as the video renderer. Now I'm using Vista in which desktop mode doesn't work so I can't test it.

Check that in right-click -> Video (Advanced) -> Video renderer

Also, any other desktop software could be using the overlay mixer... so it could be causing the problem.

due to my fault, didn't pay attention to the tips:the overlay mixer has already been occupied by other program(may be caused by the video card driver also).... when i run KMP on the first time, the "desktop mode" cannot work properly. After searching in the forum and the whole internet tomorrow, I guess it is caused possibly by my video card driver, because when it shows the tips, i didn't run any other program possibly using the "overlay mixer". So i download the lastest version ForceWare 174.31 for my video card , after i uninstalling the old driver and installing the lastest one, the "desktop mode" works well!

Thanks to the forum, the internet and the one discussed the problem.
