When I use KMPlayer to play x264.mp4 videos of sport files that are about 1GB and probably copied from HDTV my audio always goes out of sync.

I have a copy of the manual and it directs me to

But I dont know how to find that drop down menu.

How can I get to the menus shown in the manual?

After I download the KMPlayer's Manual it doesn't allow me to see the explainations of the headers. The window on the left shows the headings but the window on the right says " The page cannot be displayed". Any ideas what might be wrong?

The English version is big but helpful.... maybe it's to big to integrate it. Or they should make two versions of installers. One with manual, one without. So the user can decide.

I think you can translate user manual easily (if you have enough time to do it... :)). Content can be extracted by using e.g. 7zip if needed. Maybe an "online version" will be released in the future.

For more comfort, it should be possible to call the Help file from the KMP menu. I have already posted a thread about this:

I have saved an icon of the Help file in my "Capture" folder, so I can use the "Open Capture Folder" option when I want to access the Help file.

I extracted it and time is really a problem.... I don't know how many hours you've spend. Sorry, I can't get this done. It takes much time and my current condition is not the best. No, I'm really sorry.. but I can't.

Hi- Re your manual's links- i thank you for trying but it didn't work out. The english d/l link, when clicked on, launched a standard Open or Save? But the Save option was greyed out. I then tried the png image but it's neither saveable nor even searchable and i don't have unlimited 'net access so can't poke through likely chapters.

Right click on your .chm file, ->Properties - you should see a tab "Unblock" at the bottom. Get the idea? ;)

Might I suggest that instead of telling people to install Real Player for the RealCodec, you should recommend the Real Alternative Codec, which does not come with the spyware and bloatware which Real Player is infamous for.

I will try to update the user manual. With newer KMP releases there are new bugs that should also be mentioned.

It would be nice if updated versions (or the web page I made) could be uploaded to Pandora.TV servers as administrators once promised.

In the multi-language installer I posted in translation sub-forum, you have the option to download and install the help file automatically, but that file is outdated because administrators haven't updated it.

Go to the language folder in the KMP installation directory. Open the language file you are using and find the KMPHelpUrl string.

Change it to:
KMPHelpUrl=[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Save changes and reopen KMP.

this is my first post,
and just registered to download the .chm help file
turn out it is soo AWESOME

i'm using the kmplayer since 2007
but only in standard mode
since i know nothing about video things

but with this great work from pantuflo
i hope i can improve my knowledge

one more thing, im sori if this was answered before
(cannot find it on the 8 pages)
is there i can open the downloaded file offline?

Follow the steps in post #75 ([Only registered and activated users can see links]). Instead of writing that URL, write the path to the chm file in your hard drive.

Ive had KMP in the past, it worked greatly.. I reinstalled windows and tried to download it again and for some reason it wont show the album art.. That was one of the best features of KMP the easiness of going through your files, now i cant. Help

I’ve not yet installed the KM-player because I first would like to scan the manual so invest whether this is useful for me.

Which version should I download? On Media Fire I do see a lot of different versions KPM_293 till KPM_300

Those files with .exe extension are KMP releases. If you want to download any of them, download the latest one (1439). There's only one user manual in the Mediafire page, the one with .chm extension. It has the same contents as the online help webpage.
