i found out that it is possible to install KMPlayer silently by using the command line KMP.exe /S.
KMPlayer then does a silent full install, without any user interaction.
I would like to suggest for some more silent install options to be available, like:
1. To specify that you want the startmenu icons to be created under the All users profile and not under the current user profile (which is what the silent install currently does by default regrettably).
2. To specify to have have file associations set for KMPlayer.
With MPC, for example, you have the following command line options: /regvid and /regaud.
/regvid registers MPC for all video filetypes.
/regaud registers MPC for all audio filetypes.
These options would make a sysadmin's life a lot easier in my opinion.
The same goes for Appsnap ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).
Appsnap is an automated application installer that is able to download and install applications without any user interaction.
Appsnap is quite revolutionary in my opininon, already 300 freeware application are listed in Appsnap, including KMPlayer.
The silent install of KMPlayer in Appsnap however is very poor. It only downloads and unzips the application.
Some decent silent install options could really do some justice to KMPlayer's entry in Appsnap.
