Buffer for Network video play

Hello

I'm sorry if this will be stupid question, but I did not found a answer or setting in KMP.

So the question is ... is there some build-in future in KMP to turn on a instant buffer for video (for example 5 MB)?
I would appreciated this option when I'm watching video in my home network (it means there is file server and thru SAMBA I'm watching video on different PC)
plus I'm using also wireless network (the bandwidth is not so great sometimes) and video is not played so continuously (especially during fast scenes).

As far as I know, no. Make a feature request.

Just to be sure before I will make a request ... what exactly does this future which I just discovered? ->

Preferences -> Filter Control -> Source Filter -> Options Async File Reader (Enable Cache for files in CD-ROM or Network and Fixed drives)
