@kmpkmp,
i think this license is incorrect. It sais:
You may install all updates of the object code format provided by KMP to your personal computer, and use them for personal purposes. You may use this software for non-commercial purposes or for your personal convenience.
Yet, you made a clear statement that kmpkmp will remain free for commercial use, so kmplayer can be used in the office also.
See here:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Could you please clarify on this?

kmpkmp, may I suggest you a revision of the license terms? I'm a lawyer, and there are several terms that could be better redacted...
Dear ruudboek
The statement we were trying to make was that WE wouldn’t use KMP for commercial use.(making it chargeable etc) and that means YOU shouldn’t use it for commercial purpose as well. For all users of KMPlayers, the original license is still valid (that it’s only for your personal use). If you wish to use it in office “personally”, it wouldn’t have any problem. The only thing we wouldn’t permit will be packing KMPlayer into some bundle and sell it or to create any commercial profit. Hope this clears things out. Thanks.

Hello Kent,
thank you for your reply, however non-commercial use generally means not free for use in profit making (commercial) companies (which is just about every company).
To give you an example:
If sales people are USING KMPlayer in a profit organization to show DVD's of their latest clothing collection to customers with the intention to sell the clothing for profit, this is commercial use.
If i understand correctly, you basically want profit (commercial) companies to be able to use KMPlayer, what you don't want is a profit organization to sell the KMPlayer software to consumers or other companies for money or for the KMPlayer package to be modified.
The old license agreement already covers all that.
You could also change the license to something like the following:
This SOFTWARE is free for personal or commercial use. When you obtain a copy of the SOFTWARE, you are granted an unlimited usage period.
You may not rent, lease, sub-license, transfer, or sell the SOFTWARE. You agree not to modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the SOFTWARE. You may not alter or modify the installer program or create a new installer for the SOFTWARE.
(got this from doPDF, a freeware application that is free for both personal or commercial use)
