Cashtro, KMP is portable! Search the forum to see how to use it in a pen drive!

No, it won't.

There's no need to change the source code to make a portable version as you can use KMP as portable software.

There's no need to re-package the KMP installer, since all you have to do is to install KMP to your portableapps folder to have it in your portableapps menu.

You can already use km player in portables apps I've been doing doing for quite some time now. You just need to copy your km player folder into your portable apps folder. If you want to keep your personal settings just set it to save to ini in folder. Also if you want it to take up less space on your thumbdrive you can delete all the files in the folder and run it just buy the executable, but if you want to play .flv files you should atleast leave the libcodec.ll.
