KMPlayer have a nice option that allow to change to a desired resolution when enter in full screen mode. But for me it´s insufficient.
I connect my laptop with HDMI port out to a 46" LCD. My LCD allows to me to change the refresh rate to syncronize the framerate of the video with the Hz that I put in the graphics driver.
So, one cool option in KMPlayer will be a "conditional" option where you can set three different resolutions and refresh rate based in the FPS in the video, to eliminate tearing and jerky playback.
For example, I have a lot of movies that have 24FPS. So I must to set 24Hz in the graphics driver. BUT the problem it´s that other movies that have 25FPS don´t playback smoothly. Here its where the conditional option will be powerful, switching the resolution automatically when a framerate change.
Examples: 24Hz for 24FPS, 50Hz for 25FPS, 60Hz for 30FPS. These are the most common FPS in the videos and I think that will be sufficient to cover all types of FPS with optimal viewing.
When connecting to a LCD monitor there it´s no problem (at last I´m not have nothing of tearing or jerky playback viewing with it), but connecting to a LCD TV have other rules.
I hope that this feature likes to all and implement it soon.
Greetings all!
