When I play a song after loading Digsby (and KMPlayer hasn't been opened yet), Digsby doesn't display the song being played. Also, while playing HitzRadio.com, sometimes the song info isn't shown in Digsby. My OS is Windows Vista.

EDIT: Digsby uses three methods to get the song info. They are GetWindowText, IPC_GETPLAYLISTTITLE and IPC_GET_EXTENDED_FILE_INFO.

Well? I would like it if it were to be fixed...

Isn't it in private beta stage? Besides we can't fix Digsby here.

Well, It might be a problem with KMPlayer. Also, Digsby is in public beta status now.

Can you test it with other players (similar to KMP)?
That's a good way to determine if KMP is at fault.

Well, foobar2000 has a plugin that allows you to use it with Digsby (which works fine). Its called foo_winamp_spam.

Why is this a bug of KMP? Is there any official comment that KMP supports digby? foobar??? Is it a video player like kmp? :o

foobar2000 is a music player, not a music/video player (which is what KMPlayer is).

I've found the text below here ([Only registered and activated users can see links](foo_winamp_spam)).

"Foobar2000:0.9 Winamp Spam (foo winamp spam)
From Hydrogenaudio Knowledgebase
(Redirected from Foobar2000:Components 0.9/Winamp API Emulator (foo winamp spam))
Jump to: navigation, search

foo_winamp_spam emulates a Winamp 2.x window so existing plugins you have that use the Winamp API can continue to work with foobar2000 with minimal trouble.
[edit] Description

This component was primarily designed to be used in conjunction with an mIRC song reporting DLL, r1dll. However it is known to work with most software packages that use the Winamp API such as EvilLyrics.

The component works primarily by creating a window with the Winamp 1.x classname and setting the current song title to it. This allows programs to find the Winamp window handle in order to send further messages. The most used parts of the Winamp API are already implemented, but if your application does not work with foo_winamp_spam, feel free to ask for implementation."

If I understand correctly it might work if Evillyrics will work in KMP.

Nevermind, the developers of Digsby fixed the problem it had with KMPlayer.

Well not quite. So it works nicely with KMP?
If so it would be nice of you to write a little tutorial for others interested in Digsby. What do you say?

Ok. Here's what you do:

1. In the Buddy List window of Digsby, click the status drop down box and select Listening to music.

2. Then play a song/stream in KMPlayer.
