I think intro skipping should have another option, for example to skip from minute 5 to minute 7. A lot of tv shows now don't have the intro as the first thing. It's something like 4-5 Minutes of show -> Intro -> Rest of show. It would really be a cool feature to skip this new type of intro

I second this, its something I have often wished for while watching marathons of stargate, doctor who, house, xfiles, ... , in fact half the shows I have.

I think it's rather useless. What you are asking for is probably similar to the function of edition in mkv container.

Haali's splitter supports it.

What about other formats besides mkv ? Or are you suggesting everyone should convert their files to mkv ? Tv shows come in .avi as far as i know. Also most hardsubbed anime..etc...

I would like this feature... although I think you can watch the intro or skip it manually. For endless / gapless playback it would be very use full. I use the current feature and would use this too.

I've seen somewhere mkv dummy file created for playing a series of avi files without actual conversion. I'm not sure though.
