Hi,

I'm trying to play this video file:
[Only registered and activated users can see links] zip

In KMPlayer 2.9.3.1430 The video works, but the audio doesn't...
Anyhelp on this would be greatly appreciated...

When I looked in Advanced Playback Info, I noticed this..

[Primary Filtergraph]
0) - TVNZ 7.ts
1) - KMP MPEG2(TS) Splitter
2) - CoreAVC Video Decoder
3) - KMP Audio Codec
4) - OverlayMixer
5) - Video Renderer
6) - Default DirectSound Device

Decoder - (H264) CoreAVC Video Decoder
Format - Major Type: Video - Sub Type: YUY2
VideoInfo2: YUY2 768X-576, 16 bits

[Audio Info]
Decoder - (0xFF) KMP Audio Codec(AAC 2-libcodec.dll)
Format - Major Type: Audio - Sub Type: PCM
WaveFormatEx: PCM(0x1), 96000 Hz, 16 Bits, 2 Ch

I want to draw your attention to WaveFormatEx: PCM(0x1), 96000 Hz, 16 Bits, 2 Ch

That's wrong... here's the thing.. in VLC media player.. I get the opposite problem.. the video doesn't work.. but the audio does!!!

I hope there is a solution to this... trying to watch DVB-T HD in NZ

We use the Mpeg-ts container with video h264 and audio HE-AAC LATM.

VLC called the AAC extension: SBR
if that helps...

Thanks.

I can confirm this. Tried to change the AAC decoder - no luck.

SMPlayer - totally borked video
MPC - no audio either (no error message)

Thank you for the reply.

Do you know if this bug would be tried to be resolved in future releases?

I ask this cause I really love The KMPlayer, and I'd love to be able to use my favourite player with these files.

I love how you can choose external decoders!

Thanks.
