error problem

My friend deleted some files on TEMP folder in his computer (WINDOWS) by mistake, then KMPlayer cant work (it works good before this happened), it was an error or something (Runtime error) other players like Winamp, Real, Windows Media work properly, though. I tried to reinstalled KMPlayer on his computer but it says the same error. what should I do?

Can you open KMP at least? If so, go to Preferences (F2) and reset your settings.

Try to delete the KMP folder (make a backup if you want) and install the latest KMP version in a new folder.

I cant even open it, it says the same error (kmplayer cause an error, and will be close) I try to reinstall the latest version, and some old versions, neither were working, I had no idea whats wrong. do I need to reformat the computer? Other programs work perfectly, just KMPlayer does not.

Thank you so much, I should try than one. I also had repaired the windows system (just for the sake of KMPlayer, really love this program, wont lose it) and it works good again now *happy*
