Subtittles - position on the screen

Is there any way that I can change the position of subtittles of a movie on the screen itself? Not just on the video image! Sometimes the video image does not fill the screen and it would be better if subtittles are not on the video image but below :)

That works only on the video image. My monitor is not wide-screened. Most movies does not fill the screen...
