problem in seek time!

i have a strange problem with seek bar!

for some dvd movies when i want to jump to a specific time for example click on seek bar or use ctrl+right to jump forward; after jumping, it play movie for 2 seconds and then freeze. there isn't any choice except stopping and playing again! in these movies i can change the chapter without any problem!
this problem is in some movies not all, but for some of these movies there isn't problem by some other software like power dvd.

i want to khow whether if there is any way to solve this problem; whether by KMPlayer setting or using other programs to recode, re-index the movie to play it correctly in KMPlayer!

As you already use PowerDVD, try to use Cyberlink video decoder with KMP.

To use it:
1. Preferences (F2) -> DVD Settings -> Decoder.
2. Press "External Decoder Search", then "Add after scan" and finally OK.
3. Choose Cyberlink decoder in MPEG-2 Video decoder list.

as i said power dvd could'nt handle this problem for all movie.
some of them are played correctly in power dvd!

Changing the decoder to Cyberlink might help. Than again I vaguely remember Z commenting that KYH had problems trying to figure out why DVD playback has such issues.
