forcing ffdshow audio + video

hi again,

I like to force both ffdshow filters on all my videos.

I've got "raw video : all supported" and "uncompressed : all supported" checked in ffdshow.

they load up fine in MPC HC, mplayer2, etc....but not in KMP :(

I have to "forcibly" force them in KMP with the Custom Filter Manager.

that works fine, but then these are the first filters loaded in the graph.......and my "WMV" profile in ffdshow audio can't be loaded......because it's looking for "DMO Wrapper Filter" :(

any way to make KMP load ffdshow the same way as MPC ? without forcing it in KMP ?

Disable "smart filter connection" in preferences | filter control and select "Only use if it fails to..." in decoder usage.

the second one I had already checked, but not the first one.

it works fine for ffd audio(even my WMV profile is loaded), but it doesn't load ffd video :(

and if I force only ffd video in the custom filter manager.....playback doesn't start...it stalls on the first frame :(

any more suggestion please ? :D

Try disabling "enable KMP graph builder" and "disable subtitle loader" too. That's all. No problem here..

humm strange.

it works fine for me w/ AVI/MKV, but for WMV I only get ffdshow audio...

you run XP with the latest WMV codecs pack from WMP11 ?
