tv&dvd problem please help!

My comp.
Intel e4500, 2 gb ram, asus 9600 gt, sb xi-fi, hauppage pvr 500 TV card. Windows XP sp3. KMP 2.9.3.1431.
Problems:
1. When try to open DVD disk/file I receive message "Cant PlayDVD"?
Drag&Drop DVD ifo file into KMP works.
2. TV record don't work. In capture menu (Alt C) video is disabled.
3. Is it possible to use hardware encoding/decoding from my TV card???
