Still coudn't configure KMPlayer to reproduce web site audio/video content as default even after uninstalling Windows Media Player.

You can't do that.
Why not? Man, when you install a media player like this you excpect it will take charge at least the common and most important tasks.
WMP codecs are proprietary, so KMP use them remotely. E.g. avi files are no problem. But if its asf, wmv ...etc file, it is a problem without WMP. Also, there is a problem with some applications, if you uninstall IE from Windows (even if you have an alternative browser installed).

JCG, do you think it's possible to replace wmp with anything eles for the streaming of online contents? Even quicktime or realplayer can't be replaced by WMP in this point and vice versa.

This firefox extension can be an example of embedded players replacement:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Streaming content is replaced with a button and you can associate that button to KMP so it will start playing the embedded media.
