Audio multichannels problems: PC connected with HI-Fi

Hello!
I have a PC with a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 player with digital out connected to an Hi-fi with 5.1 diffusors.
I want to play with KMP an AVI with audio AC3 multichannel (3/2+1), but the Hi-Fi display me only a PCM signal, stereo. I don't know how to send from PC an output in multichannel.

Is my Sound Blaster too old? Have I to set properly the KMP?

Try with these settings:

Preferences (F2)...

... Internal Audio Decoder -> General -> Disable LPCM and enable "16 Bits PCM" and "24 Bits PCM".

... Internal Audio Decoder-> Output -> select "SPDIF output after realtime AC3 re-encoding".
