I have many videos with up to 7 different audio tracks. Some of them are built-in, others stored in a separate mp3/ac3/dts files.
It would be great if external audio files could be picked up and added to the list of available tracks!

It can be done. Right-click -> Open -> Load External Audio.

Thanks, how come I didn't find an option?
I tested it and it seems to work, but not for all video files - it failed for mkv files and succeeded for avis, independent from audio file format (tested ac3, dts and wav). Can anyone confirm this?
P.S. I'm using kmplayer v2.9.3.1431 (based on executable information, is there about dialog anywhere?)

For mkv, it is loaded too but not showed in menu on skin.
--> right clicking on kmp -> goto filters while playing -> stream switcher.
It could be fixed in the future.
It's also possible to auto-load external audio tracks. F2 -> Goto filters menu -> tick load external audio file(s).

mpg has the same problem. I tried it with with avi. (works well) flv (works) mkv (the problem described above)
My computer froze after I ended KMP while playing the loaded audio file. ("Schwerer Ausnhamefehler" is displayed)
I corrected this freezing problem with a reinstall of KMP...

Well I got this problem as well. I loaded external audio for .mkv file, so that audio was .dts, played well as separate audio track. When I loaded it into movie of course it didn't work. Then I tried to switch it in filters as it was written above, found it in menu, switched and got silence. It just doesn't play.
The problem was unfortunately solved by using Crystal Player.
Hope you'll get it fixed soon +)
