Play video more then 3x speed (4-8speed)

Is it possible add more speed of playing video ? Probably 8x will be enough. And is it possible add keybord shortcuts for that ? Thank you. JF.

By default: Shift+No.block+ to increase or Shift+No. block- to decrease. up to 300%

Of course, I know, I wrote MORE speed than 3 times ..
And shortcut key for directly speed (for example 6x and not pressing planty times SHIFT+Num+)

Currently there is no way to play a file faster than 3X.... and as a result of that there aren't keys for this function...

If the ability/opportunity comes (to play a file faster than 3X) than I agree with you..... there should be keys for this function.

you are talking about video files right? If you're talking about DVD it's possible to use 2X 4X 8X (fast forward; without sound) For this you can add/change keys manually. Preferences (F2) > General > Keys/Gloabal Control.......... there you select "DVD Controls" > "4X" and then you can add a key....

I guess your were talking about files not DVD... but if not this may helps you
