How to use attachments twice (or more often)?

I have upload a file, used in one thread. Now I want to use the same file again without uploading it again. It sould be possible, but I haven't found out how it works.

I uploaded the file again, but for the next time I want to know how to attach a file more than just once. Can someone give me an advice?

Since an attachment appears as a link, just copy that link to another post.
