hi all

i used sopcast (a p2p streaming program) to record one streams.
after recording, everything works but i cannot seek the video file (ie jump to specific sections)
if using videoLAN, there's a "wizard" that you can fix the video file, and make the video seekable.
Does KMP have the same function?

the reason is because, the recording i have, does not play audio with the video in videoLAN, but it plays video and audio in KMP. i cannot use "wizard" from vidolan to fix it, because there is no audio.

anyone can help? thanks!

(or if anyone else can suggest to me other ways to fix seek, it would be good)

What file type? (Just asking)

Sometimes .avi files are broken. KMP plays them, but sometimes the files are not seekable. Cutting the file, recoding it could work. VirtualDub can re sync audio, and sometimes fix the problem with unseekable files.
