hello,
i've been using kmp for a long time but i can't get it to play my videos since my last format. I keep getting the "The overlay mixer is being used..." message. When i select another video renderer it either freezes, or plays only audio, or shows a double redish picture of the movie. the only external codecs i have are the ones in klite codec pack.
some help here please, i used to love this player

looks similar to mine. I don't have problems with video or audio playback. I'm sorry to disappoint you.

Save your current settings (backup them) then reset your settings. If resetting solves it try to configure KMP like before but be careful not to reproduce the problem. If this does not solve the problem then you can use your old settings.

Or you can try 1431 (beta).

nothing new with the beta version. i removed the klite codec pack and now i watch using using vmr7 nad vmr9 windowed but not in renderless mode.

Try to update your video card drivers.

It is a common message when there is an application using overlay mixer. Disable all applications running in background and try it again. If the message is still not disappeared, overlay mixer of your video card must be broken for some reason. It can be a video hardware failure.
