Hi,
is it possible to add Kmplayer to default programs under vista?
Here should be all information required:
[External URL submitted by user - Login required]

This will have 2 benefits under vista:
1) Users will be able to set associations to kmplayer when they are currently defaulted to another program (currently i can't using kmplayer configuration, only manually).
2) Users will be able to default some associations to kmplayer "protecting" them from other applications


I have written these reg (attached as txt rename to reg) entries that should work for any KMPlayer 1309 AFTER trying to associate all supported files to kmp. I take no responsability of course...
This should ease the developer work if the feature is interesting for them.

Hi, I'm new to the forums. After I add the registry entries, KM appears on the defaults program list. But, if I set it to default, some files that are supposed to be opened by KM, they just give me the "Windows can't open this file" thingy. I select "Select a program from the list of installed programs" and I don't see KM player on the list so I click "Browse..." and I chose the KM player with the following path:"C:\Program Files\The KMPlayer\KMPlayer.exe". But it doesn't appear on the list. Please help me!!! EDIT: Nevermind... After so much work I fixed it.
